Introducing DaVinci Resolve Version 8.1

The Media Village is proud to present DaVinci Resolve Version 8, the latest version of the world's greatest color grading system. We're pleased to be joined by veteran colorist, Emilio Batungbacal.

Emil is one of the region's top commercial colorists, having worked at major facilities in Singapore, South Korea, New Zealand and India throughout his career. He has recently returned to his home-base in the Philippines, where he runs ColorChemistry, a boutique color grading house in Manila. His showreel can be found here. 

Version 8.1 is the second major release of DaVinci Resolve this year and the world's best colour grading system just keeps getting better. Among the new features:

- ACES Colorspace Support

- Improved Avid AAF import/export for roundtrip editing between Resolve & Media Composer

- New cut. copy, paste operations for editing and node metadata

- Support for MacBook Pro 15"(early 2011 models) and UltraStudio 3D for Thunderbolt support

- Support for Windows platform and price reduction for Linux license

- Many more!
